Have you ever wanted dual monitors on your desktop PC?
Most would say “Yes” but others would say I’d rather have a single but wide monitor.
But when it comes to laptops, would you need dual screens? Would you want them?
For the average laptop user, most would say “No“.
But for content creators, finance managers, power users and even gamers, having two screens on a laptop is a huge thing.
Enter the ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo and ZenBook Duo.

ASUS ZenBook brings in dual screens!
Unveiled at Computex 2019 the ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo and ZenBook Duo featuring the world’s first dual-screen on a laptop.
Borrowing from the design of the ASUS ROG Zephyrus S (GX531 and GX701), the keyboard was shifted forward or downward relative to the user using a laptop. By doing this, the upper part where the keyboard used to occupy is now free.
On the ROG Zephyrus S, ASUS used that portion as vents to cool the gaming laptop. But for the ZenBook Pro and Zenbook Duo, ASUS put in place their ScreendPad Plus.
This made the ZenBook dual screen and it is pretty cool if you already know what to do with it.
What can I do with the second screen?
You might ask, what can I do with the second screen?
For multi-taskers and content creators, we often have a lot of applications or sometimes use more than one browser when we work or even when we play.
With the second screen you can park those applications on it and continue to be able to view the contents of those applications while we are working on the main screen.
You can park on the second screen any application as what ASUS wants us to believe. But essentially there is so much to gain in having the second screen.
For example, if you use GIMP or any image editor you’ll notice that the editing toolbars can be moved and dock to anywhere you want to. With the second screen, you can just dock all these toolbars on to it and your main screen is free of clutter.
There’s a lot to use it for even for gamers. You can park your chat applications or other gaming tools on the second screen and just continue gaming.
