Yesterday at the Samsung Developers Conference held in San Francisco, California, Samsung unveiled powerful new tools for developers.
The new tools for developers are for their Bixby and SmartThings platforms.
And as well as the new and powerful mobile interface the Samsung ONE UI and the Infinity Flex Display.
We’re going to tell more about the Samsung’s newest ONE UI and Infinity Flex Display technology.
Samsung ONE UI
A new intuitive and less cluttered design user interface was introduced by Samsung called the ONE UI.
The ONE UI aims to reimagine the user experience when using their Galaxy smartphones.
The new UI is minimalistic in designed that keeps the most relevant content on the bottom half of the screen.
Putting content at the bottom allows for a more comfortable and natural feel when using the phone with just one hand.
The ONE UI also removed clutter, reducing distractions and allowing for easy navigation of your phone.
Infinity Flex Design
Working together with the ONE UI is Samsung’s revolutionary Infinity Flex Design display.
This revolutionary display allows for a larger immersive display for a compact smartphone giving users the ability to view more content.
The Flex Design allows for a small compact phone to have a larger display once unfolded.
The unfolding of the Flex display is still a little weird if I may say but this new technology ushers a new generation of designing displays not just for smartphones but on a wide range of uses.
Samsung has invited developers to participate and work closely with them in making this technology work in a wide variety of applications.
We here at Gadget Boulevard are already thinking of portable PC’s with flex displays that wraps on your arm.
